Jonathan was born on the road touring – starting when he was 10 days old.

He was raised around music and world class artists, both traveling the world and based in New York City.  He graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Theatrical Directing and immediately immersed himself in the music and lighting industry.

Jonathan found his way to the famous Greenwich Village nightclub (le) poisson rouge from it’s infancy as a startup and helped develop and build their facility into the world class touring stop that it is today.  Working as a Production Manager he has brought events and showcases to the top venues in New York City including the Apollo Theater, The Town Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center among others.  He has been an invited presenter at AES speaking on Broadcasting Facility Design and Streaming.  His reputation as a designer led Nyack College to ask him to do the Lighting Design for their new facility in lower Manhattan.

Jonathan also has become one of the top Lighting Designers for Fine Art and Galleries through his work at Christie’s Auction House. Christie’s has afforded him the opportunities to light some of the world’s most valuable pieces of fine art.
