Based in New York City, Jimmy's impressive portfolio spans the worlds of theatre, opera, dance, and corporate media, with international credits in Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Mexico, Austria, Canada, and Germany.

In New York, Jimmy has worked on renowned projects at The Public Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Theatre Row, HERE Arts Center, NYU, PS 122, La MaMa ETC, The Joyce, Epic Theatre Ensemble, The Vineyard Theatre, Atlantic Theater Company, Ars Nova, Classic Stage Company, Cherry Lane Theatre, Symphony Space, Leon Goldstein Theatre, The New School for Drama, NY Children's Theatre, and NY Fashion Week.

His Broadway credits include associate work on Be More ChillTerms of My SurrenderHedwig & The Angry Inch, and Head Over Heels.

Regionally, Jimmy has collaborated with The Smithsonian, The Kennedy Center, Shakespeare Theatre, Signature Theatre, Arena Stage, American Stage, Asolo Rep, Bristol Riverside Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Gulfshore Playhouse, The Walnut Street Theatre, Hartford Stage, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Norwegian Cruise Lines, The Watermill Center, Hub Theatre Co, Lively Productions, Theatre Mitu, and Infinity Theatre Company.

In opera, Jimmy has contributed to productions at Opera Tampa, Virginia Opera, Opera Naples, Opera Roanoke, Utah Festival Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, Utah Opera, and Chicago Opera Theatre. He also serves as the Resident Assistant Lighting Designer at The Metropolitan Opera.

Jimmy has been the resident Lighting Designer for The Ashley Bouder Project, Animus Theatre Company, Infinity Theatre Company, and Lively Productions. His broadcast, corporate, and retail work includes projects for MTV/CBS, Showtime, Comedy Central, Amazon, NHL, NFL, HBO, Samsung, San Pellegrino, Cadillac, The NY Jets, The Yankees, Rihanna, and Tiffany & Co.

Jimmy holds an MFA in Design for Stage and Film from New York University and a BA in Theatre from James Madison University. He is a proud member of USA 829, the professional designers union, and The Lambs Club.
