In New York, Jimmy has worked on renowned projects at The Public Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Theatre Row, HERE Arts Center, NYU, PS 122, La MaMa ETC, The Joyce, Epic Theatre Ensemble, The Vineyard Theatre, Atlantic Theater Company, Ars Nova, Classic Stage Company, Cherry Lane Theatre, Symphony Space, Leon Goldstein Theatre, The New School for Drama, NY Children's Theatre, and NY Fashion Week.
His Broadway credits include associate work on Be More Chill, Terms of My Surrender, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, and Head Over Heels.

Jimmy has been the resident Lighting Designer for The Ashley Bouder Project, Animus Theatre Company, Infinity Theatre Company, and Lively Productions. Jimmy holds an MFA in Design for Stage and Film from New York University and a BA in Theatre from James Madison University. He is a proud member of USA 829, the professional designers union, and The Lambs Club.
